After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences Department of Economics, Mr. Nezihi Alptürk started to work as an analyst at Azot Sanayi A.Ş. He worked as researcher, director and advisor to the President of the Central Bank. In 1988, he served as a Management Consultant to the managements of companies. From 1991 to 1995, he served as Executive Vice President in charge of corporate finance, research and overseas marketing at Garanti Securities. From 1996 to 2000, he served as the Head of Budget Planning and Business Development at Doğuş Holding. During the same period, he served as Vice-Chairman and General Manager of Körfez Yatırım A.Ş..

Since 1999, he worked as an Executive Committee Member and later as a consultant for Doğuş Holding A.Ş. Beginning from March 2016, Mr. Osman Nezihi Alptürk served as the Vice-Chairman of Doğuş Otomotiv and Doğuş Oto and left his active duty in April 2017.
