We are looking for an Operation & Support Engineer to be employed in our İstanbul / İzmir office.
The ideal candidate should;
- Be passionate, curious & eager to learn,
- Be a good team player & be flexible in aligning personal goals with team objectives,
- Have strong communicational and interpersonal skills,
- Have experience with Linux/Unix and Shell Scripting,
- Have experience on database platforms (PostgreSQL is a plus) on basics like querying data, checking errors, etc.,
- Have experience in IP networks and basic knowledge of NW devices, routing, permissions, etc.,
- Have knowledge of Apache Tomcat web server,
- Have experience in analyzing, monitoring, and improving the stability & performance of Java Applications,
- Have basic knowledge of management of Virtualization (VMWare, OpenStack Hyper-V) and Cloud Platforms (especially AWS and Azure),
- Preferably have knowledge of Web Services, JUnit, or any unit testing tool,
- Have knowledge of CSR portals and CSR management,
- Adapt to changing circumstances and demands, whilst maintaining standards,
Have experience with at least 4 years of technical support for software solutions and products.
The Operation & Support Engineer is expected to;
- Participate in the detailed technical design for the requirements,
- Assist customers before and during UATs,
- Fix the bugs reported during the system testing period,
- Find the problem and report to related departments, follow bug and feature-related developments,
- Stay between customer and product teams to coordinate activities,
- Be open to improving & using new technologies,
- Give support for production issues.
