How IPDR Logging Works?

Kron’s IPDR Logging offers easy and efficient collection of data from distinct, distributed locations. The Kron IPDR Logging architecture allows you to deploy collectors where data is generated. Kron’s IPDR Logging transfers data in between collectors to a central cabinet instance in a compressed and secure way. The solution consists of two major components:

How IPDR Logging Works?
Kron IPDR Logging Data Collector

Kron IPDR Logging Data Collector

The Data Collector is responsible for collecting/ ingesting incoming flow/event data from network devices (CGNAT/PGW / GGSN / BNG etc.) and subscriber info to correlate them and transferring log data to the Cabinet Module.

Kron IPDR Logging Data Cabinet

The Data Cabinet Module is responsible for receiving and storing logs. This module supports different output formats, and it will enable you to store them in a time-series data structure. The Cabinet System can store the data in binary or ASCII format and also compress the output using the most efficient algorithm. As a result of the process, total ratio of compression for data output is around 93%.
